The MainStream Coalition is the Moderate Alliance of Informed Neighbors.
Founded in 1993, we are a nonpartisan organization whose mission is to promote the separation of church and state, with an emphasis on public education and religious freedom.
There are three organizations connected under the MainStream umbrella:
- the MainStream Coalition, a 501 C4 nonprofit and our flagship organization
- the MainStream Education Foundation, a 501 C3 nonprofit and supporter of our educational efforts
- MainPAC, a political action committee, which endorses and supports candidates for office
Each entity maintains separate and distinct Boards of Directors.
Rep. Carol Sader is another one of MainStream's founding group.
