Ever wonder why our schools keep asking for more funding while continuing to tout student achievement? Curious how they can keep building new buildings while class sizes are on the rise and programs are shrinking? Confused as to why we can't just take a vote to see if our parents and patrons would like to raise more local tax dollars to satisfy the need?

Join us for Kansas Education 101, an overview of the issues surrounding school finance in the state of Kansas. We will provide some historical context, discuss current conditions, and forecast some of the issues of importance in the legislative session ahead.

Become better educated on these issues so that you can make an informed choice on election day, November 6.
