MainStream Coalition was founded by people who thought it was important to stand up for their principles, to stand up to an increasing extremist political fundamentalism taking root in Kansas. Today, 18 years later, those princples continue to stand at the heart of who we are as an organization. 

MainStream promotes our positions and issues in all kinds of ways. Community forums, strategic alliances, voter education, email alerts are among the various tools we use to live into our mission.
