What’s the future of KPERS: Will it be there for me and my family?

Big changes are happening at KPERS, and its members and retirees want answers to their concerns about the retirement fund for Kansas public employees.  Will the legislature continue to under-fund KPERS?  Will the $1 billion in KPERS bonds issued last year pay off as hoped?  Why is KPERS saying “no” to its long history of defined payoffs for its retirees? 
What’s the long-term viability of KPERS?  Can we count on it?
