Step Up and Advocate: Make Valentines for KanCare

MainStream Coalition is hosting "Step Up and Advocate: Valentines for KanCare Expansion" 

Friday, February 9, 2018 from 1pm to 2:30pm.

Corinth Library, 8100 Mission Rd, Prairie Village, KS 66208

 

This is the first of our Step Up and Advocate Volunteer Meet Ups. 

The Senate Health and Public Welfare Committee will be having an hearing on KanCare on Valentine's Day. Let's show our support for the expansion of Medicaid in Kansas (known as KanCare) by sending Senate committee members valentines. 

Drop by, grab a coffee, a chocolate and fill out a few valentines. MainStream will hand deliver them to the committee members at the Kansas Statehouse. 

Valentines, embellishments, markers, KanCare talking points, listing of Senate Health & Public Welfare Committee member room numbers will be provided. 

The passage of KanCare would assist 150,000 Kansans access healthcare and provide jobs throughout the state.
