Mainstream Civic Engagement Foundation is dedicated to creating a more representative and responsive government by empowering informed participation and meaningful action in the political process. We envision a political system that truly represents the needs of all Kansans, specifically those who have been intentionally left out of the civic engagement process. Our programmatic work is designed to educate on legislative issues facing Kansans, provide innovative tools for effective personal advocacy, and increase civic participation by breaking down barriers to voting for marginalized communities including young adults, communities of color, and LGBTQ+ Kansans.
