School Funding Facts of Life

Sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Johnson County.

The January 2015 mail-in ballots tested how much Johnson Countians would support their public schools.  No tax increase would be involved.

“Yes” for Shawnee Mission Schools meant upgraded school security, facility improvements and modernized technology for classrooms.

“No” for Olathe Schools would mean a loss of nearly $4 million/year.
