The Women's Foundation describes the workshop as:

"Established by the Women’s Foundation in 2014, Appointments Project® works to empower women and strengthen communities by increasing the gender diversity of public boards and commissions. Through a landmark study, we identified the barriers causing women to be underrepresented on public boards and commissions, and we established the Appointments Project to improve the number of women serving.

Serving on a board or commission is a great way to give back to your community and take on a leadership role. Claim your seat at the table and join us for a workshop to learn more about serving on a public board or commission."

A lite dinner will be provided.
