KS WEALTH Day at the Capitol

The Climate and Energy Project is hosting WEALTH Day at the Capitol on Thursday, March 15, 2018.

MainStream is one of the proud co-sponsors and will be having an booth from 10a-3pm

Join Kansans to learn about and advocate for Water, Energy, Air, Land, Transportation, and Health in Kansas.

Activities include:
Get up-to-date on current environmental advocacy
Visit the Solutions Showcase
Enjoy the Local Foods Luncheon
Sample New Ideas at the Cookies & Conservation Conversation
Meet with your legislators

All are welcome to join for the full day or specific agenda items.

8:00-9:00 Climate Prayer Vigil - Classroom
9:00-10:00 Policy Briefing - Visitor's Center Auditorium
10:00-3:00 Solutions Showcase: organizational booths - 1st floor Rotunda
10:30-2:00 WEALTH Dialogs - 1st floor, South Wing
12:30-1:00 Lunch with legislators - 1st floor, North Wing
2:00 -3:00 Cookies & Conservation Conversation & Scavenger Hunt Drawing - 1st Floor Rotunda
3:00 Adjourn for the day

The WEALTH Dialogs will provide a deep dive into each of the WEALTH topics. Join the conversation with legislators and leading advocacy organizations to learn more about the pressing WEALTH issues in Kansas.
