6-14-16 – Science Café – Coach’s Bar and Grill, 135th and Grandview, Overland Park, KS. 6:00 PM
Please come as early as 5:30 for dinner, and Dr. Fisher will begin around 6:30.
Dr. Stanley Fisher, co-Director of St. Luke’s Marion Block Neuroscience Institute in Kansas City, MO. He will discuss the clinical presentation, pathology, epidemiology and diagnostic work up of Alzheimer’s Disease, as well as current and future therapies for cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s Disease. With so many
Americans having Alzheimer’s Disease these days, this is a timely topic for the day.
Dr. Fisher joined St. Luke’s Neuroscience Institute in 2015. He holds a faculty appointment in the department of Neurology and Psychiatry in the UMKC School of Medicine. His biography is long and star-studded in the area of brain research and treatment, that I couldn’t begin to do it justice here.
He is a great speaker, and a very talented physician who we are very lucky to have join us. I hope to see you there!
