The Mainstream Coalition is excited and proud to launch the The Voter Network, a nonpartisan nonprofit with a focus on voter engagement for Kansas that will drive changes in representation and politics for decades to come.
The Voter Network isn't brand new, it is a re-focusing of the work we have always done at Mainstream to inform and engage voters on the importance of voting to their own lives. That work used to be done under the Mainstream Education Foundation, which has been renamed the Voter Network Foundation, and streamlined to work on voter turnout, voter education, and voter empowerment.
The Voter Network's mission is no less than to turn Kansas into the highest voter turnout state in the nation.
To do that, we need you.
- Consider donating as you might have to the Mainstream Education Foundation. You'll be funding nonpartisan voter empowerment, and your contributions will be tax deductible.
We need you to be an active part of this movement, because voter engagement is powered by people. We've built tools, like Voter to Voter and KSBallot.org, but without the staff at the Voter Network, without the hundreds of volunteer voting Ambassadors, without the countless communities, congregations, organizations, activists, and yes, voters across Kansas who will participate, we can't do the work.
How can you help? Glad you asked!
-
First! Today is the deadline to register to vote in the August 4th Kansas Primary Election! Already registered? Request a mail-in ballot to vote from home! Done that? Make sure all your friends have, too! Do it all at ksvotes.org
- Learn more about The Voter Network
- Tell your friends and family about how to vote, we have a step by step guide to the 2020 election.
- Join one of our Voter to Voter powered initiatives, or encourage your city, your congregation, and the youth you know to reach out to the Voter Network.
- Get your own team together for Voter to Voter, you'll each need just ten friends you'll encourage to go vote! It's private, easy, and effective.
- Tell everyone you know about KSBallot.org, a one-stop site for information about the next election, including who and what is on your ballot, how to vote, and where to vote, complete with reminders.
We could not be more excited for the future with The Voter Network spearheading our nonpartisan voter engagement work!
As always, thank you for your support of all that we do.
