Continuing the Conversation

Tomorrow is Juneteenth, celebrated as the day slavery ended in the United States. But while we recognize that day, we also recognize that the legacy of slavery remains in the fabric of our society.

The nation has seen massive protests against racism since the murder of George Floyd, protests that continue unabated even as we begin to listen and, hopefully, work for change.

In that spirit, Mainstream is hosting a series of conversations with community representatives and advocates on the front lines to share their experiences and discuss how we can move forward, together.

Creating a space to help amplify black voices is just one of the ways we are continuing to work with our partners in the fight to end systemic racism.
