Get everyone you know to vote!

This has been a terrible weekend for our country. The shootings in El Paso and Dayton, and in Kansas City, have left us with the need to do something. Thankfully, tomorrow, Tuesday, is election day. We can celebrate our democracy at the ballot box. We urge you to vote as if our lives depended on it, and take as many people as you can with you.

Tomorrow's election is a primary for municipal and school board races. There are fourteen counties in Kansas with elections tomorrow, including Johnson and Wyandotte, two of the most populous.

Why is your vote critical?

How do you vote?

First, think of as many people as you can to take with you. This is how we turn the country around, by voting. Then make sure they know all they need to know to vote: visit be-a-voter.org to learn how to vote.

Then, go to your polling location and vote like our lives depend on it.

Come celebrate voting afterwards!

In conjunction with our Voter to Voter project, we are holding a watch party to track the turnout in these local elections. We'd love it if you'd join us, wearing your "I voted" sticker!
