Letting go of 2016

This has been a difficult year. The internet is full of memes describing it, from dumpster fire to worse. Politics overwhelmed us, and the results, nationally, were terrifying for people who hold with the positions we support at MainStream. We've told you Kansas was a bright spot in the dark firmament of this year, but it can be hard to accept, we know. So it is time to close the door on 2016, and look forward to 2017.

We've put together a document outlining what MainStream accomplished in 2016. We would not have done it without you: activists, supporters, donors, and voters. None of this, the forums, the testimony, the voter drives, the scorecards, the endorsements, the canvassing, the postcards... none of it happens without your engagement and support.

So, thank you.

Go enjoy the holidays. MainStream will take the next week off, and we'll see you early in the new year, ready to make 2017 better than 2016 was.

Remember to make a difference every day in your community. Do more than vote.
