2022 will be here before you know it, and the Kansas legislature is already prepping for a whirlwind session. Mainstream has spent the past few weeks in Topeka pushing back against disinformation and bad policy during the Special Session and the Special Committee on Education marathon meeting. We know there are terrible bills just waiting to drop once the session begins on January 10th. And we’ll be ready for them.

Our focus next year will be on the issues that will have a long-term impact on Kansans if we’re not successful. They’re the priorities that we’ve heard from you, our supporters and members, since we were founded nearly 30 years ago - make Kansas a safe place for everyone, where every vote counts, everyone is protected against discrimination, and our children can thrive.
