On behalf of our staff and board, I want to wish you a happy and healthy holiday season.

Thanks to you, 2018 was a banner year for MainStream.

• We unveiled a unique program that enabled peer to peer voter engagement. Hundreds of you participated, reaching out to thousands of your friends and family to get them to the polls. And guess what… Over 80% of the voters you engaged voted!!
• We had nearly two dozen tireless individuals canvassing with us during the primary and general election season. We hit over 32,000 doors spreading the word about the dangerous policies championed by Kris Kobach.

Thanks to your support:

• We hosted a full calendar of events including coffees, legislative meet and greets, lobby days and legislative forums.
• We testified and mobilized our network to help pass good legislation and work against those policies that don’t align with MainStream values.
• Our PAC was able to help fund candidates running in local, state and federal offices and we saw wins at all levels.

With a friendly Governor in Topeka but a Legislature that has shifted to the right, the words of Theodore Roosevelt come to mind. "Nothing worth having comes easy.” It won’t be easy, but with your continued investment and involvement, we will succeed in fighting for policies that are good for all Kansans.

We are expanding our team in 2019. As we work to grow our network beyond Northeast Kansas, we’ve hired an additional communications staff member and are in the process of hiring a youth engagement coordinator. This growth is possible because of you. As a coalition, MainStream is only as strong as the commitment and involvement of its members. Thank you for all that you have done to fight for Kansas. We hope we can continue to count on you to sustain this work through a year-end gift and via your time and energy in 2019.
